▷ 제목: Two dimensional semiconducting materials: synthesis and device applications

▷ 내용: Direct growth of transition-metal chalcogenides such as MoSon plastics, ultrathin glass (UTG) and III-V compound semiconductors offers a wide variety of opportunities for developing new electronic and optoelectronic devices. In this talk, we present a novel approach for low temperature growth and direct integration of MoS2 on plastics, UTG and III-V epitaxial wafers. A thin film of MoS2 was directly synthesized on these substrates through the MOCVD technique and fabricated as the TFT array. Subsequently, the MoSbased TFT was monolithically integrated with micro-LED devices to produce an active-matrix micro-LED display. In addition, we demonstrate various integrated circuits using the MoSbased TFT on flexible substrates. This strategy represents a promising route to attain heterogeneous integration, which is essential for high-performance electronic/optoelectronic systems that can incorporate the established semiconductor technology and emerging 2D materials.
